Hi There and welcome to The CRYPT 18. So what do we have in store for you this Issue?
Well in Issue 17 we showed you pictures of an Amiga converted into a Tabletop device, Keeping with this theme, We have some excellent Pictures of a Home Constructed Towercase made entirely from Wood.
We have our usual mix of informative News Articles, Jokes, Reviews and have even included some screenshots of the New DOpus for Windows ... Well more than half our site visitors use a PC, So why not :)
The Good News on the CRYPT Magazine is, Our last Issue (17) remained as Popular as ever, with an increasing number of Visitors to our Web Site. Sadly our Guestbook remains slightly under used, and the letters to the Editors section ...While slightly better is still a bit short of comments.
The Regular Reader, Might notice that this issue of theCRYPT, Has a slightly unusual Theme to it :) ... Gone are the Dark Mysterious, Blood Thirsty Graphics. Instead we have gone for a Cartoonish Summery type graphic's. We thought that even if the Weather was bad this Summer, Perhaps the CRYPT could Cheer you up.
AS always, You the Readers see only the End Product of Our Teams work (The Magazine). AS always we have frantically been working in the background ...Trying to think of Ways to improve the CRYPT.
Those with Internet access will see some Major Site changes, It is our aim to ensure that visitors to the Web site will find loads of reasons to return on a regular basis.
For those not yet connected to the Internet, We will continue to Issue the CRYPT on Floppy disk. However due to our Efforts in the PR Department, The CRYPT Magazine Is Available from many outlets.
Because of this Availability, Thankfully the need for the Disk Issue Via Mail is Disappearing. We at RIYAN Pro have certainly no objections to producing the CRYPT on Floppy Disk (Providing it is still required) However this method is not only Expensive but very time comsuming. A Perfect example would be the Last Issue (The Retro) ... Released on 5 Disks ... Can you imaging the Time and work required if you had to send out 50 Copies?
Let me assure you, This period is the "Dread" of every Disk Magazine Editor, Made even worse by the fact that most people that actually receive the floppy disks, Could possibly get the Magazine from other sources.
So any readers out there, That still get the Floppy Edition, But who COULD get it from another source, Please let us Know that you no longer require the Disks (Remember that you can Readthe CRYPT Online using a PC as well as an Amiga). The time we could save by not producing the Disks, would be well spent creating a bigger and better Production for the next issue.
